Xtreme HM Sanitary Silicone Sealant

A superior anti-mould sanitary silicone guaranteed to prevent mould, mildew and bacterial growth for up to 10 years.

Application: Suitable for sealing applications in areas of high humidity such as kitchens, shower bases and cubicles, baths, wet rooms, sanitary ware, etc. It can also be used around window and door frames in areas that have condensation levels. Moreover, it can be used in swimming pool areas. However, it cannot be used in swimming pools.

The product offers excellent primerless adhesion to enamel, tiles, glazed ceramic, glass, stainless steel, polycarbonate glass (Plexiglass) and acrylics. It is also suitable for use on wood, aluminium, chrome, concrete, brick and PVC. However, for these surfaces, you must use a primer.

Instructions: Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from grease or any contaminants that may hinder adhesion. Remove any old sealant.

Cleaning: Tools can be cleaned in Bond It White Spirit or Multi-Wipes prior to curing taking
place.

Limitations: Due to the large number of existing paint systems, it is necessary to conduct a compatibility test to ensure suitability. There is also danger of yellowing on contact with white alkyd resin paints. There is a risk of corrosion when used on bare iron or non-ferrous metals. Not suitable for use with aquaria, bitumen or asphalt and overpainting is not recommended.
