A specially formulated, acetoy cure silicone sealant for applications in the food machinery and food preparation industries. Approved by the U.S Food & Drug Administration (FDA) for food contact. Certified by NSF for food contact.

Features: Contains a powerful and effective anti-fungal compound to prevent microbial growth on seals. – Minimal shrinkage. – Temperature stability -40oC to +180oC. – Sag resistant. – For interior use.- Will also withstand sterilisation cycles and the extremes of heat and cold. – Conforms to FDA No 21 CFR 177.1210 & 177.2800.

Application: Can be used to create waterproof seals and joints in machinery in food contact areas. To seal between ceramic tile and kitchen fittings and seal between walls and floors. In can also be used to seal around deep freezers, food processing machinery, refrigeration units and chiller cabinets. It is ideal for use on: glass; ceramics; stainless steel; paint; GRP; melamine laminates, timber, brick, coated metals, enamel, glazed tiles and many plastics.

Instructions: Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from grease, oil or any other contaminants that may hinder adhesion. Prime porous surfaces and metals other than stainless steel or anodised aluminium for optimum adhesion.
Application: Apply using a standard sealant gun with the nozzle cut at an angle of 45°, and to an opening slightly larger than the joint to be sealed. After application leave for two or three minutes and tool to a tight finish using Bond It Sealant Applicator Tool or similar.
Cleaning: Tools can be cleaned in Bond It White Spirit or Multi-Wipes prior to curing taking place.

Limitations: Not suitable for use on un-primed ferrous metals, copper and its alloys, cements or concrete, marble or natural stone. Not suitable for use with aquaria.
