Name: Bondtite Fast & Clear Epoxy Adhesive

A fast setting two-part epoxy adhesive system, with high transparency joints.

Features: High transparency bond line – Fast setting: 5-minute working time, regardless of temperature – Resistant to mild alkalis and acids, water, and most common solvents – Non-shrinking – Can be tinted for colour matching.

Application: As an adhesive for a wide range of materials or as a versatile filler for gap bonding, surface repairs and to bond various substrates like metal, ceramic, wood, chrome, concrete, marble, glass, fiberglass, tiles etc.

Instructions: Preparation: All surfaces to be bonded must be clean, dry and free from dust, grease or contaminants that may hinder adhesion. Very smooth surfaces should be abraded to provide an adequate key. Wash glass and ceramic surfaces with soap and water then rinse and let dry.
Application: Pre-fit parts to be joined. Squeeze an equal volume of material from both Part-A & Part-B tubes. Mix resin and hardener for one minute thoroughly and then apply as per requirements. For best results apply a small amount of mixed adhesive to both surfaces within one to two minutes of mixing and press together. Placing parts together close to the 5-minute set time will reduce adhesion as the product will have begun to cure. Remove any excess glue immediately with acetone. Support bond for 20 minutes at room temperature. Usable strength achieved in 1 hour. Fully cured in 24 hours.

Limitations: Not suitable for plastics such as polyethylene, polypropylene, PTFE and silicone rubber. Not suitable for applications requiring short-term heat exposure >150 °C. Not suitable for areas subject to constant water immersion.
