Name: Gripbond Pro Max Hybrid Adhesive

A hybrid adhesive with double the initial grab strength of most other grab adhesives. Eliminates the need for mechanical support in most applications. It has a high ultimate bond strength and is suitable for internal and external use, in all weather conditions. Typical bond strength: 250Kg/m2.

Features: Superb adhesion qualities even on wet surfaces. – Quick curing. – Weather resistant. – Free of isocyanates, solvent, silicone, phthalates and acid, making it safer to use. – Remains fully elastic and permanently flexible. – Can be over-painted with water-based paints. – Non-staining and will not discolour surfaces (excellent for use on natural stone). – Excellent adhesion to most surfaces (even moist surfaces). – Low odour.

Application: Suitable for use on metal, wood, glass, stone, polystyrene, concrete, plasterboard, insulation board, ceramics, many plastics, perspex, polyester MDF, chipboard, OSB, timber panels and many more surfaces.

Instructions: Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are clean and free from dust, grease, oil or any other contaminants that may hinder adhesion.
Application: Carefully cut the top of the cartridge taking care not to damage the threaded area. Screw on the nozzle supplied and cut at an angle approximately 45o. Apply using a standard sealant gun. Apply in beads or strips to one surface only, and bond the surfaces together carefully and allow to cure. Cleaning: Remove any excess material and clean tools with Bond It White Spirit or Multi-Wipes prior to curing taking place. Cured adhesive must be removed mechanically. Replace plastic cap after use.

Limitations: This product is not recommended for installations where joints are permanently immersed in water or on surfaces that bleed oils or plasticisers. If used on overhead applications, always use in conjunction with mechanical fixings. It is recommended for large mirrors but it should be used in conjunction with mechanical fixings. For large and/or heavy items provide temporary support until full cure is achieved. Not suitable for use on polypropylene or Teflon. Overpaintable, however as quality and type of paint can vary, always test compatibility in an inconspicuous area prior to application. If allowed to cure in dark conditions or poor light the product may yellow.
