Name: Ulti-Mate Builders Silicone Sealant
A low modulus neutral cure (LMN) builders silicone sealant. Suitable for applications where joint movement does not exceed 30% and where the long term durability of silicone is required.

Application: A superior silicone for high movement joints that remains permanently flexible for up to 25 years. Suitable for sealing around doors and windows and for general building maintenance. It can be used to fix mirrors, glazing systems, cap beading and glass and also for expansion and joint sealing to precast concrete and brickwork and for perimeter pointing. Can be used indoors or outdoors, it has excellent adhesion to cement, concrete, glass, ferrous metals, galvanised steel, ceramics, some plastics, timber and most common building materials.
Instructions: Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from grease or any contaminants that may hinder adhesion. For best results on movement joints, Bond It Expanding Foam or Backer Rods are recommended as a backing material.
Application: Apply using a standard sealant gun. Cut tip from cartridge, be careful not to damage the screw thread. Cut the nozzle at an angleof 45° and fix to cartridge. Using a caulking gun apply sealant to the joint. Tool within 5 minutes using a tooling rod, wet spatula or Bond It Sealant Applicator Tool, for reasons of health and safety do not tool with finger.
Cleaning: Tools can be cleaned in Bond It White Spirit or Multi-Wipes prior to curing taking place.
Limitations: In areas subject to fungal or mould growth Bond It MULTI-MATE SILICONE should be applied. Not suitable for use on submerged joints where porous substrates may permit water to effect the bond. Do not use in aquaria assembly or on bitumen or asphalt. Overpainting is not recommended.
