A heavy duty, solvent free, waterbased, spreadable contact adhesive. Tackles all the same jobs as normal contact adhesive but without the health issues.

Application: Ideal for securing floorcoverings accessories and profiles to internal vertical and horizontal surfaces such as, walls, ceilings and stairs. Can be used to fix vinyl, linoleum, textiles, (including needle punch) rubber floorcoverings, flexible stair nosings, vinyl and rubber skirtings, accessories, and flexible stair stringers. For general building installations, shopfitting, laminating and furniture manufacture. Suitable for use on porous and non-porous substrates: textiles, rubber, plastic laminate, wood, plywood, chipboard, plaster, painted surfaces, metals, cork, leather, canvas, expanded polystyrene and sub-floors incorporating hot water underfloor heating systems. Also suitable with EPDM rubber for use in roofing applications.

Instructions: Preparation: Surfaces to be bonded must be sound, clean, dry and free from grease and oil. Any dust must be removed from the surface as this will affect coverage and bond strength. One of the surfaces to be bonded needs to be porous for the adhesive to cure effectively. Smooth or polished surfaces should first be roughened with fine abrasive. A priming coat may be necessary on absorbent surfaces.
Application: Thoroughly mix to ensure the even dispersion of polymers before application.
Apply a smooth, thin layer of adhesive to both surfaces by brush, short-pile roller or pad. The product can also be applied using a 3mm notched trowel. Allow to dry for 10-15 minutes, or until tacky. The white adhesive becomes clear when ready to bond. Bring the two surfaces together (avoid trapping any air) and apply as much pressure as possible to the whole area by means of a roller, press etc.
Drying Time: Dependent on substrate and ambient temperature and humidity. Allow upto 60 minutes for initial set. Bond strength will continue to increase for upto 48 hours after application.
Cleaning: Clean tools using soapy water. Remove surplus with a damp cloth whilst wet.

Limitations: Do not use on polythene, polypropylene, bitumen or asphalt. If unsure always test an inconspicuous area before full application. Do not use in areas subject to continuous immersion in water. Do not use at temperatures below +5°C.
