Name: Bondtite Super Strength Epoxy Adhesive

A two-part epoxy adhesive system, for when extremely high bond strength is required for similar or dissimilar materials.

Features: Very high bond strength (100-150 kg/cm2)- Set time unaffected by temperature – Resistant to mild alkalis and acids, water, and most common solvents – Non-shrinking.

Application: As an adhesive suitable for bonding metal, ceramic, glass, marble, granite, dry concrete, most rigid plastics, bakelite, asbestos, wood, leather etc. It can also be used in insulation, automotives and electronics, for example fixing electromagnets to flywheels, bonding brake lining to shoes, plugging holes in cylinder blocks, fixing head light reflector and glass to rim, for insulating high speed motors and fixing wipers.

Instructions: Preparation: All Surfaces to be bonded must be clean, dry and free from dust, grease or contaminants that may hinder adhesion. Very smooth surfaces should be abraded to provide an adequate key. Wash glass and ceramic surfaces with soap and water then rinse and let dry.
Application: Pre-fit parts to be joined. Squeeze an equal volume of material from both Part-A & Part-B tubes. Mix resin and hardener for one minute thoroughly and then apply as per requirements. For best results apply a small amount of mixed adhesive to both surfaces and press together. The set time is approximately 90 minutes, so there is time for adjustment at the beginning of the period. Remove any excess glue immediately with acetone. Support bond for 8 hours at room temperature. Usable strength achieved in 24 hours.

Limitations: Not suitable for plastics such as polyethylene, polypropylene, PTFE and silicone rubber. Not suitable for applications requiring short-term heat exposure >150°C. Not suitable for areas subject to constant water immersion.
