Name: Lami-Mate Timber Sealant. This sealant can be a great alternative to wood glue for wood working projects that require a flexible solution.

A polymer enhanced, flexible sealant and gap-filler designed for sealing all tongue and groove laminate and hardwood flooring. It is also designed for sealing around timber windows and door frames. Many professionals consider options like wood glue for wood working and sealing when tackling timber installations.

In terms of features, this product offers advantages wood glue for wood working may not provide. For instance, it offers permanent flexibility.

Application: Bond It LAMI-MATE can be used for sealing the perimeter of all types of laminate and hardwood flooring. It is ideal for draught proofing around timber flooring to provide an effective dust and air tight seal. It can also be used for sealing around timber window and door frames.

Furthermore, it is suitable for all types of fitted furniture i.e. bedroom and kitchen fittings, laminate worktops, etc. Also suitable for sealing glass panels into kitchen unit doors. While offering these applications, Bond It LAMI-MATE can be a complementary product to wood glue for wood working tasks.

Instructions: Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from grease or any contaminants that may hinder adhesion.</p><p>Cleaning: Tools and excess sealant can be cleaned with a damp sponge, soapy water or Bond It Multi-Wipes prior to curing taking place. Of course, users accustomed to using wood glue for wood working should allow proper curing times for best results.

Limitations: use only, do not use in areas subject to mechanical abrasion. Do not attempt to sand down.
Note: The colour on application will be different to the colour achieved when fully cured. It should be noted that unlike traditional wood glue for wood working, this sealant is not suitable for sanding after curing.
