A traditional oil based, gunable pointing and sealing mastic for general exterior building use. This product is an excellent choice when a paintable external wall sealant is required. This mastic acts as a reliable paintable external wall sealant for a variety of applications.

Application: Offers superior adhesion to all building surfaces. It can be over-painted when cured with most conventional oil based paints. Furthermore, it can be used to seal and bed window and door frames manufactured from metal or wood. Also, it can be used for the maintenance of low rise building joints, seals and flashing. In addition, it is useful for pointing around precast building materials. Note: Not suitable for use with uPVC. As a paintable external wall sealant, it provides flexibility in different construction scenarios.

Instructions: Preparation: All surfaces must be clean, dry, sound and free from dust, oil, loose particles or any other contaminants that may hinder adhesion. Also, polythene tape or foam backing should be used in movement joints. In summary, choose this paintable external wall sealant for dependable exterior sealing. Cleaning: Remove any excess material and clean tools with Bond It White Spirit prior to curing taking place. Moreover, cured adhesive must be removed mechanically

Limitations: Do not use on bitumen or asphalt or where joint movement exceeds 5% of mastic area. Do not use on plastic surfaces or PVCu window frames or in areas subject to continuous water immersion.
