A laminated geotextile seaming tape for jointing artificial/synthetic grass carpets.

Features: Strong and rot resistant. – Impervious to moisture ingress from the base. – Sealed back to prevent adhesive penetrating to base. – Constructed to lay flat when rolled out. – Laminated for durability.

Application: Tape consists of 2 ply’s of non-woven fabric bonded together with a strong adhesive. The back layer has a smooth impervious surface whilst the top face has a more open structure to aid bonding. Astro Pro Seaming Tape is designed for use in conjunction with Astro Pro Adhesive (BDAPROGB) and is suitable for use with all tufted or needlepunch artificial grass carpets. It is ideal for shorter pile carpets where it is important to minimise the height of the tape and adhesive at the seam joint.

Instructions: 1. Fold back the artificial turf 30-40cm on each side along the length of the join.
2. Unroll join tape shiny side down along the entire length of the join.
3. Apply an even layer of adhesive to the tape either direct from the cartridge using the notched nozzle supplied, or use a suitable sized notched applicator to spread the adhesive.
4. Press the edges of the carpet into the adhesive and apply pressure all along the seam to ensure that the tape and the grass are firmly bonded.
5. Allow a minimum of 24 hours for the adhesive to cure.
