Name: AS900 Acoustic Sealant

A flexible joint filler, acoustic sealant and adhesive for plasterboard partitioning systems. A high quality waterbased sealant and adhesive with good adhesion to most common building materials.

Application: For reducing noise transmission across voids and preventing building panels vibrating and drumming. It should ideally be used to seal around dry wall partitioning, suspended ceilings and interior skirting boards to prevent noise trransmission across cavities and through voids at the edges of wall systems and through cut outs. Ideal for fixing plasterboard into partition systems to reduce vibration and movement. AS900 is compatible with most materials used in construction including concrete, plasterboard, wood, brick, natural and artificial stone, etc. Suitable for filling cracks and joints with low movement.

Instructions: Preparation: All surfaces must be clean, dry, sound and free from dust, oil or any other contaminants that may hinder adhesion.

Application: AS900 does not require a primer on most construction surfaces. Apply using a standard sealant 900ml sealant gun with the nozzle cut at an angle of 45°, and to an opening slightly larger than the joint to be sealed. Bond It AS900 is a rapid cure product and should be tooled within 5 minutes of application using a Bond Sealant Applicator Tool or similar.

Cleaning: Remove any excess product with a damp cloth or clean tools with soapy water.

Limitations: Not recommended for external use, for uPVC or in wet areas. Cold and humid conditions will slow drying. Do not attempt to sand down. Do not use on surfaces subject to movement.
