Name: Silicone Release Spray

A clear, non-staining silicone lubricating oil in an aerosol can that provides a clear barrier which is excellent for treating machinery and moving parts against the build up of dust, hair and foreign matter.

Application: Has a wide range of uses including mould releasing and lubrication in the automotive, engineering, food, clothing and upholstery industries. This product will not attack painted surfaces or plastics and is classed as a food safe non emulsifying lubricant suitable for use in the food and drinks industry. Suitable in industries such as mould making/releasing, window and door frame installations, using rubber and EPDM gaskets, as well as jobs round the home, garage and workshop. Can also showerproof materials such as umbrellas, camping equipment, etc.

Instructions: Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and grease and oil free. Attach the straw to the nozzle and aim at the component, keeping. Shake can well before use. Application: Dependant upon application, product should be sprayed onto the surfaces that require lubrication, in short bursts, from 15cm to 25cm. Wipe away excess with a soft cloth and buff if required. For mould release applications remove any material from the mould, spray uniformly paying particular attention to corners and areas of fine detail. Ensure all surfaces have received a coating, the silicone can be gently spread using a soft non woven cloth. Best results will always be achieved from moulds with smooth unpitted finishes.

Limitations: Do not use on surfaces to be painted as silicone may induce surface irregularities in the paint. For polystyrene, first spray the release onto a cloth and apply by hand to protect the polystyrene from the propellant.
