Description
Name: Lightweight Scrim Tape
A trade grade fibreglass mesh tape which gives increased strength and extra reinforcement when joining plasterboard.
Features: Self‐adhesive and repositionable. – Joins dry wall, plaster walls & ceilings. – Repairs cracks & patches holes. – Quick & easy to apply. – Flexible, will not bubble/blister. – Eliminates the need for pre-plastering, provides extra reinforcement and saves time and money. – Alkaline resistant, will not rot.
Application: For joint finishing, crack and hole repair. Suitable for use on drywall and plaster walls and ceilings. Specification: Backing: 100% Fibreglass; Adhesive: Acrylic; Total Thickness: 0.2mm; Total weight: approx. 65 gsm.
Instructions: 1. Ensure surfaces are clean, free from dust and dry.
2. Remove outer packaging from roll of tape.
3. Peel required amount of tape from roll, pressing firmly into place whilst unrolling.
4. Cut with a knife or tear when finished.
