Name: Lami-Mate Timber Sealant

A polymer enhanced, flexible sealant and gap-filler designed for sealing all tongue and groove laminate and hardwood flooring and for sealing around timber windows and door frames.

Features: Gap-filling. – Overpaintable and stainable. – Remains permanently flexible. – For interior and exterior use. – Non-shrinking. – UKCA Approved. – Conforms to BS EN 15651‐1 F EXT-INT.

Application: Bond It LAMI-MATE can be used for sealing the perimeter of all types of laminate and hardwood flooring. It is ideal for draught proofing around timber flooring to provide an effective dust and air tight seal. It can also be used for sealing around timber window and door frames as well as all types of fitted furniture i.e. bedroom and kitchen fittings, laminate worktops, etc. Also suitable for sealing glass panels into kitchen unit doors.

Instructions: Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from grease or any contaminants that may hinder adhesion.
Application: Apply using a standard sealant gun with the nozzle cut at an angle of 45°, and to an opening slightly larger than the joint to be sealed. Smooth down using a slightly wetted spatula, piece of wood or Sealant Applicator Tool. If varnishing or staining allow sealant to cure fully before painting (between 24 and 48 hours).
Cleaning: Tools and excess sealant can be cleaned with a damp sponge, soapy water or Bond It Multi-Wipes prior to curing taking place.

Limitations: use only, do not use in areas subject to mechanical abrasion. Do not attempt to sand down.
Note: The colour on application will be different to the colour achieved when fully cured.
